As a garden speaker I offer a collection of talks, seminars and workshops to inspire and help my fellow-gardeners create their own New England gardens.

Vermont Landscape Designer

Since 1977 I have been a Vermont-based landscape designer.  During this time I have helped numerous people develop their personal landscapes as beautiful extensions of their homes.  I have designed gardens of all sizes: everything from a bijoux hillside garden planted to give color throughout the season—to master-plans for extensive properties.

Garden Speaker and Writer

As a designer and lifelong gardener I have developed a broad understanding of what it takes to make a beautiful and satisfying garden in New England, and how to choose a picture-perfect combination of hardy plants.  For the past decade, I have delighted in sharing this understanding with my fellow gardeners by:

• Speaking to garden groups and at the Vermont Flower Show
• Conducting hands-on design workshops
• Teaching the annual Vermont Extension Master Gardener class in ‘Landscape Design Fundamentals‘— more recently ‘Sustainable Home Landscaping‘
• Authoring two garden-related websites: North Country Reflections and North Country Gardener
